Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

The Embodiment Project operates www.embodimentproject.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what personal information we collect from you, how we use it, and the choices you have about it. By using the Site, you're agreeing to the collection and use of information as described here.

What We Collect

Information you give us directly, such as when you:

  • Sign up for our email list or take our quiz

  • Purchase a course, program, retreat spot, or digital product

  • Book a coaching session

  • Contact us directly

This may include your name, email address, and, where relevant, billing information (handled by our payment processor — see below).

Health-related information. If you register for a retreat, or take part in coaching or programs that touch on nutrition, movement, or wellbeing, we may ask about relevant health considerations (for example: injuries, pregnancy, allergies, or medical conditions) so we can support you safely. We treat this information with extra care, use it only for that purpose, and don't share it beyond what's needed to deliver the service.

Log Data. Like most websites, we automatically collect some information when you visit the Site — your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, and the time and date of your visit. We may use third-party services like Google Analytics to help us understand this data.

Cookies. We use cookies — small data files stored in your browser — to help the Site function and to understand how it's used. You'll be able to manage your cookie preferences through the consent banner on our Site. You can also set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the Site may not work as well if you do.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, run, and improve the Site and our services

  • Process payments and deliver purchases

  • Send you newsletters, updates, or promotional content — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email

  • Schedule and manage coaching sessions, using scheduling software

  • Understand how people use the Site so we can make it better

Who We Share It With

We don't sell your personal information.

We work with a small number of trusted third-party services to run our business, including:

  • Course and content delivery (currently Teachery)

  • Email marketing (currently MailerLite)

  • Payment processing (currently Stripe) — handled directly by our payment processor; we don't store your full card details ourselves

  • Scheduling software, for booking 1:1 sessions

  • Automation tools (currently Zapier), which may connect the above services to one another

  • Analytics (such as Google Analytics)

Each of these providers has access only to the information needed to perform their function, and is bound by their own privacy and security practices.

Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. If you'd like us to delete your information, you can reach out using the contact details below.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Request that we delete your information

  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

  • Opt out of the sale of personal information (though, as noted, we don't sell it)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.

Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Security

We take reasonable, commercially acceptable steps to protect your personal information. That said, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and if the changes are significant, we'll let you know — either by email or through a prominent notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
