Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your participation in any coaching, courses, retreats, or related offerings through The Embodiment Project ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing this website, purchasing a program, or participating in any service, you're agreeing to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the website or services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use this website or participate in our services. By using the site, you're confirming that you meet this requirement.

2. Services

We provide mentorship, coaching, online and in-person courses, retreats, workshops, and related digital content focused on education and personal transformation. These services are not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and they're not a substitute for those things.

Nothing we offer constitutes medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have questions about a medical or mental health condition, please bring them to a qualified physician or therapist — not to us.

If you're experiencing a crisis or acute psychological distress, please seek appropriate professional care right away.

3. Payments and Refunds

(a) All payments are due in full at time of purchase, unless you've been offered a payment plan.

(b) Payment plans are binding financial commitments. If payments aren't completed, we may suspend your access to services and pursue collection of the outstanding balance.

(c) Unless otherwise stated, all sales are final and non-refundable — including digital products, downloads, and any content that becomes accessible immediately upon purchase. Certain programs, retreats, or live events may carry their own cancellation policies, provided to you at registration; those specific terms will govern in those cases.

4. Coaching Sessions

(a) Coaching sessions must be scheduled in advance and used within the agreed timeframe.

(b) We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice than that may be forfeited.

5. Assumption of Risk & Personal Responsibility

(a) You're responsible for your own health, wellbeing, and choices — including the decision to participate in any practice or protocol we offer.

(b) Some of what we offer involves physical or embodied practice: yoga, breathwork, meditation, somatic work, movement, and similar modalities. These may involve real physical exertion and aren't right for everyone. Please modify anything as needed for your body, and consult a physician before beginning — especially if you have a pre-existing condition, an injury, or you're pregnant.

(c) Some of what we offer also touches on nutrition, and may at times include guidance on food, herbs, or detox and cleansing protocols, whether one-on-one, in a course, or as part of a group program. This guidance is educational, not medical or nutritional therapy, and it isn't a substitute for individualized care from a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified provider. Please consult your own healthcare provider before starting any detox, cleansing, or significant dietary change — particularly if you're pregnant or nursing, managing a medical condition, or taking medication.

(d) Participation in any practice, protocol, or program we offer is voluntary, and you assume all risks involved — physical, mental, emotional, or otherwise. You agree to proceed at your own discretion and won't hold The Embodiment Project, its officers, employees, contractors, or affiliates liable for outcomes related to your participation.

6. No Guarantees

(a) While our services are designed to support real transformation, we don't guarantee specific outcomes — health, emotional, financial, relational, or otherwise. Results vary based on your effort, commitment, and individual circumstances.

(b) Testimonials and examples reflect individual experiences. They're not promises of what you'll experience or achieve.

7. Intellectual Property & Digital Products

(a) Ownership of IP: All course materials, manuals, recordings, ebooks, guides, workbooks, templates, and other written or digital content—as well as all underlying proprietary frameworks, methodologies, archetypes, patterns, naming conventions, and systems—are the exclusive intellectual property of The Embodiment Project and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

(b) Limited Personal License: When you purchase or access any digital product or program, we grant you a personal, individual, non-transferable, and revocable license to use it solely for your own personal development and individual educational purposes. This does not transfer ownership of the content or the concepts to you.

(c) Strict Prohibitions: You are expressly prohibited from sharing, forwarding, posting, reselling, or otherwise distributing our materials or methodologies to anyone else, including in group settings, communities, or forums outside of what we have expressly authorized. Furthermore, you may not use our frameworks, archetypes, or patterns to coach your own clients, train others, create derivative works, or establish a commercial offer, course, or program of your own without our prior written consent.

(d) Enforcement: Redistribution, reproduction, resale, or unauthorized commercial use of any of our materials, frameworks, or systems is strictly prohibited. The Embodiment Project reserves the right to immediately terminate your program access without a refund and pursue legal remedies for any violations of this section.

8. Confidentiality

Any personal information we collect is handled according to our Privacy Policy. If you're part of a group program, please keep any stories or case studies shared by other participants confidential — they belong to the learning space, not outside of it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Embodiment Project and its affiliates disclaim liability for any damages, losses, or injuries arising out of or connected to your use of this website or your participation in our services — including coaching, courses, retreats, and any physical, embodiment, or nutrition-related practices we offer.

10. External Resources

This website may reference or link to external resources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or reliability.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time, without prior notice. Continuing to use the website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Chelan County, Washington. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to inconvenient forum.
